Reunion '11

BANQUET
The banquet speaker was CDR Shanti Sethi, CO of the USS Decatur (DDG-73). She is the first female CO of Bengali-Indian descent. SAhe gave us a lot on insight as to the modern Navy. She was very forthright and entertaining in answering the many questions from our shipmates and spouses.
A group of local USN personnel presented the colors at the beginning of the banquet session. An inspiring invocation was given by Phil Broadbridge. After supper, the Tafoyas made several shipmates happy by drawing several prizes.
All in all, the Reu7nion was a complete success. We all owe Ernie and Connie a BRAVO ZULU!
